Learning activity details

(While we celebrate the first day of spring of the northern hemisphere, these three frolicking lambs dance a fond farewell to summer. For in Christchurch, New Zealand, where this photo was taken, today is the first day of fall.

But let’s not let that deter our joy. That’s just the way the seasons shake out between the southern and northern hemispheres. So while we pack up the mittens and galoshes, our friends below the equator are putting away the flip-flops and swim suits as autumn arrives.)

Explain how changes in the solar angle of incidence results in seasons.
