Learning activity details

The use of the Microsoft Kinect to facilitate project based learning within Secondary schools. This project involves the design and creation of a language game through the use of the latest Microsoft Kinect and gaming technologies by students from two geographically separate schools to aid the learning of a foreign language. An entire overview of this project can be seen in the document ‘Project Overview.doc’.

The project spanned almost two months which meant that it had to be properly managed by the students in order to have it completed by a specific deadline. This was achieved by delegating the work to group members and project management through the use of a gantt chart. The gantt chart and project diaries can be seen below.
