Each month this year, I am conducting an interview with an innovative thought leader in the education technology arena. These interviews are packed with powerful insights, and a glimpse at the way in which today's leading voices and practitioners see technology opening new directions, new possibilities for teaching, learning, and serving their constituents.

January's interview featured Phil Komarny, CIO at Seton Hill University, an institution of higher education that has been well ahead of the curve on meaningful integrations of tablets and mobile computing in their curricula. Komarny has also been recognized by the Huffington Post as the "the No. 1 Social CIO in Higher Education". This interview provides a good look down the road at how leading CIOs in all types of organizations are going to leverage the mobile revolution, the consumerization of IT, and more, to deliver the best experiences to their customers.

February's interview offers the vision of Terry Heick of TeachThought.com. This self professed "education dreamer" explores ideas that will push education forward. "Technology is adaptable—force your will on it. Make it do what you want ... don’t limp along with mediocre edtech integration.” TeachThought publishes great content every day, including many concepts that can form the basis for new approaches to teaching and learning.

Stop by and read one of these informative interviews, and be sure to catch each month's new interview, as we explore the thinking of many of today's inspired education technology advocates, and get a glimpse at the evolving ed tech landscape of tomorrow.
